Will Greece manage to take the copyrights of its civilization?

When the Greek community realized that they cannot get rid of the great economic crisis they are experiencing without paying a price for it, they made a crazy preference. They supported a marginal party which is placed on the edge of the left side and which promised the Greek community that they will not pay their debts to the EU, but instead resist. They thought they could survive by supporting radical expressions as a final exit in this political environment, where the central parties' rational solutions ran out. Actually, the support towards Syriza was the recognition of the end of the sea. The sea ended; this is the pursuit of pulling through a crisis without tightening belts, dealing with more economic sanctions and even without changing the life styles at all, if possible…

Where does this expectation, of the Greek governments and community to resolve a crisis without risks, coming from? Could it be that they've forgotten that all the unplanned spending, which caused them to become trapped in debt, will be paid when its time and that this will have a price? Or, if there is a government mind and continuity in the government, is it possible for the executives and politicians, other than the popular bias, to not to calculate this beforehand?

In some previous scandals, it was revealed that the Greek government played with official economic indicators in order to use a more alluring credit and avoid being squeezed in debts. Of course, an attitude, which could be called a government scam, definitely has a communal response.

The attitude should have a cultural, psychological and historical response.

Since the period, when Greece had been disintegrated from the Ottomans in cooperation with all the European countries, the feeling of possessing the intellectual roots of the European civilization was being fed constantly. Besides, they've always seen the response of this expression politically, militarily and economically. In a sense, Europe's honor was held in high esteem for being a basin where the civilizations emerge. In any case, they always acted with this advantage. As you know, when the European civilization was invented, it was assumed that it rose over a trio trivet: Athens, Rome and Jerusalem… Athens always thinks that the Europeans are obliged to pay the price for this. The public was merely thinking that the payment for Western civilization's copyrights was not completed.

The result of the referendum is reflecting an attitude, which evoked the feeling that the Greek politicians and community are almost thinking the Europeans are obliged to help them no matter what the situation is and which has shown that the copyrights of the civilization was not paid yet.

Maybe, there are still situations where the request for copyright rate will be perceived with tolerance. However, this civilization expression was never a priority that came before capitalism's own interests. Besides, Greece was imposing a one-sided copyright deal in front of history.

In the end, socialist, left rhetoric collapsed before finding an opportunity to implement, and was forced to make an agreement in front of the capitalist European bosses. First of all, the magnitude of Greece's debts exceeded the tolerable volume of the rich EU. Secondly, there was no civilization or moral value that they can put up with by sacrificing the interests of finance capitalism.

The agreement is Greece's encounter with the real face of capitalism. While the Greek community thought that they can have the Europeans pay the price for the imaginary civilization without changing their own life styles, they must have realized that the civilization credit given to them is running out. Of course, what led the Greek community to such an idea was the seductive “imaginary civilization projects” of the Europeans. Their attitudes until today always proved this.

However, the present situation was actually closely related with the crisis of capitalism/funding. If the EU was acting like its old days, they would have possibly acted more tolerant towards Greece. However, the “Greek foundations of the imaginary European civilization” expression was actually a universal value that would provide legitimacy to West Europe's domination and expansion policies. The Europe power, which rose under the wings of capitalism, was legitimizing the imperialist expansion policies and the way to gain more even at the risk of pulverizing lower classes. The influence of this rhetoric on Greece's early acceptance to the EU, the protection towards them and their usage of all their means is undeniable.

From that point on, if the point in question is a possible crisis in capitalism and rich countries due to this expression, there are no moral rights that can't be sacrificed.

The transformation of capitalism's crisis into a global issue is actually related with whether the Westerners will give up on their life styles or not. This consumption madness and the passion to win more on the global scale is consuming the resources of the world and causing communal destructions. The living standards of their own communities are directly related with how much the others are articulated to this system and the extent of their customer role. In cases, where the customers cannot pay their debts, no humane sentiment will come into play.

The problem of Greece is; believing in the civilization rhetoric and assuming that this expression is more important than the process of global capitalism.
