Red Bull-Honda driver Verstappen wins Sunday's rain hit German Grand Prix

Red Bull-Honda's Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the German Grand Prix in Formula 1 on Sunday.

Seven drivers were unable to complete the race in Hockenheim town due to the rain but it couldn't stop Verstappen to take the victory with a degree of one hour, 44 minutes and 31 seconds.

The circuit length of the Hockenheimring track is 4574 kilometers (2842 miles) and Sunday's Grand Prix was held in 64 laps.

Red Bull-Honda's Pierre Gasly, Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas, two Renault drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo, Ferrari driver from Monaco Charles Leclerc, McLaren-Renault's Lando Norris and Racing Point-Mercedes driver Sergio Perez didn't finish the race in Hockenheim.

Verstappen, who had five pit stops on Sunday, earned his second win in 2019.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was 7.3 behind Verstappen as the German driver completed the German Grand Prix in the second spot.

Toro Rosso-Honda's Russian driver Daniil Kvyat came third in Hockenheim, finishing this race 8.3 seconds behind the winner.

Meanwhile the 2019 Formula 1 leader, British driver Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes came 11th on Sunday.

The upcoming race will be held in Hungary on Aug. 4.
