Funeral ceremony of martyred soldier in Turkey
A huge crowd gathers for the funeral ceremony of Senior Infantry Sgt. Ömer Bilal Akpınar, who was martyred after the terrorist group targeted Turkish Armed Forces during the "Operation Olive Branch"in Syria's Afrin, in Karabük, Turkey on February 08, 2018. Turkey launched Operation Olive Branch on January 20, 2018 at 5 p.m.(1400GMT) in Syria's northwestern Afrin region; the aim of the operation is to establish security and stability along Turkish borders and the region as well as to eliminate PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and Daesh terror groups, and protect the Syrian people from the oppression and cruelty of terrorists.
