Bears prepare for hibernation with 400 kg of food every day in Turkey

Turkish adventurer lives on mountain for 7 years without technology in Bursa
35-year-old Ilhan Budak, who has been living on the mountainside of Uludag for 7 years with no access to technology, exercises with DIY weights made of recycled yoghurt containers outside his small shelter in Bursa, Turkey. Budak made the decision to move far away from the city center and immerse himself in nature sans technological devices due to his great interest in sports, and he boasts myriad medals which he won after participating in nationwide marathons. Budak also makes his own vinegar from organic fruits and has been earning his living by working in rural areas.

Baby brown bears under protection in Turkey's Bursa
A view from Ovakorusu Celal Acar Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Bursa, Turkey. Baby brown bears, who got separated from their mother and unable to live in nature, became the mascot of the rehabilitation center where they are taken under protection in the Karacabey district of Bursa. The general caring of the baby bears, which are 8 months old on average, is carried out by specialist veterinarians at the center in the area created especially for them. Bears are being fed pears, carrots, apples, fresh fruit and bread as well as special high-protein foods.

Brothers with rare eye color draw attention in Turkey
Two brothers in Turkey's western Bursa province draw people's attention with their rare eye color. The couple, Suat and Esra Selman were in for a surprise when they had their first child 11 years ago. Mehmet Selman was born with one blue and one brown eye, a condition called heterochromia.
