Kharkiv Zoo plays music to calm stressed animals during Russian bombardment
The war in Ukraine carries catastrophic consequences not only on people but also on animals. Kharkiv Zoo took measures to prevent the animals' psyche from deteriorating further. During the explosions, the zoo administration calmed the stressed animals by playing music and using the calming sound of a cascading waterfall. The zoo opened its doors to visitors on Monday (June 20) for the first time since the beginning of the war.
