Netanyahu's new target is Europe

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told a journalist that he is currently reading Jews vs. Rome, a 2025 book by historian Barry Strauss. When asked what made him pick it up, Netanyahu replied, “Well, we lost that one, I think we have to win the next one.”

The book details two centuries of Jewish rebellions against the Roman Empire and explores how the Jewish people, despite military defeat, preserved their identity and faith.
