Unemployment rate in Turkey shows a slight upturn from the previous month, but the rate of labor force participation also increases to 52.4 percent in July from 52.1 percent in June
Turkey's unemployment rate rose to 9.8 percent in July from 9.6 percent in June, official figures showed on Thursday.
Unemployment remained stable at 9.8 percent from July 2014 but employment rate climbs to 47.2 percent from 46.3 in the same period last year.
There were 2.97 million out of work, an increase of 130,000 in year-to-year period.
The labor force participation rates also increased to 52.4 percent, with 30.31 million people in work, up 1 million 35,000 from July 2014.
A total of 30.14 million people were in work in June 2015, according to the statistic institution.
