Iran issues urgent warning for UAE ports over US military presence

Iran, citing the presence of American military elements, has issued a formal warning calling for the immediate evacuation of civilians from areas surrounding several strategic ports in the United Arab Emirates. The announcement, reported by the Fars news agency on Saturday, significantly raises the stakes in the already volatile Gulf region.

The directive specifically names the Jebel Ali Port, one of the busiest container ports in the world, along with the Khalifa Port and Fujairah Port. According to the statement, these locations have been reclassified as "legitimate targets" because US military forces are allegedly operating inside these civilian facilities. The notice warned that these ports "could be targeted in the coming hours."
