Turkey 'won't rest' until it eliminates terror swamp on Syria border: presidency

Turkey won't stop until it has eliminated the terror swamp right next to its border, Communications Director for the Turkish Presidency Fahrettin Altun said on Friday.
"Terrorists have killed 2000+ innocent people in Turkey since 2015. Many of those attacks were planned in NORTHERN SYRIA," Altun wrote on his Twitter account.
"The Turkish people suffered more than their fair share.
"WE WON’T REST UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED.
"We won't stop until we drain the terrorist swamp next door."
A possible mission eastof the Euphrates, which Turkey’s leadership has been suggesting for months, would follow two successful cross-border Turkish operations into Syria since 2016 – Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Olive Branch – both meant to eradicate the presence of YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists near Turkey’s borders.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The YPG and PYD are its Syrian extensions.
Altun also posted a video ahead of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan receiving Lindsey Graham, a senior U.S. senator, at the presidential complex in Ankara.
The video shows scenes from some of the 100-plus terror attacks by the PKK/YPG, Daesh and FETO terror groups Turkey has suffered since July 2015, attacks which have killed over 2,000 innocent Turkish people.
