Türkiye signs HURJET export deal with Spain at Airbus facilities in Madrid

Turkish and Spanish officials attended a signing ceremony at Airbus facilities in Madrid for the export of the HURJET national jet trainer aircraft, produced by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), to Spain. The deal marks a significant milestone for Türkiye's defense industry.
President of the Turkish Defence Industry Agency Haluk Görgün, CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) Mehmet Demiroğlu, and other officials attended a signing ceremony at Airbus facilities for the export of the HURJET national jet trainer aircraft to Spain. Spanish Secretary of State for Defence María Amparo Valcarce García, Director General of Armament and Material Admiral Aniceto Rosique, and Head of Air Power at Airbus Defence and Space Jean-Brice Dumont also participated.
