What are we waiting for?

Last year, upon the request of illegal settlers on the West Bank, the buses, which carried Palestinians and Jews, had been separated.

Besides, there are separate ways that are open to the use of illegal settlers that are living in the invaded lands.

Again, the electric and water networks, which are used by illegal settlers, are also separate from the ones used by Palestinians.

According to various researches, in Israel courts the rate of cases that find Palestinians guilty are four times more than Israelis.

Palestinians are residing in 36 out of the 40 cities in Israel, in which the unemployment rate is the highest. Arab-Israeli citizens, who manage to find jobs, are being paid a salary 30% less than that of the Jews.

Because of these reasons, 61% of Palestinians are living on the border of poverty.

In 2012, only 6.25% of the state budget was separated for Arab-Israeli citizens.

While the Israeli state is spending 192 dollars for a Palestinian child per year, it spends 1100 dollars for a Jewish children.

In the first place, Rabbis, then several NGOs are calling out "don"t rent houses to Palestinians".

In the state budget for the schools, 20 percent less of an amount is separated for schools which Palestinian children are attending. Nearly no help is given to the schools in Palestine villages in the South. There are only a couple of primary schools in these regions, while there are no high schools.

Israel is a state, which had lost its mind with population calculations and ethnic demography. For example, in 2003, Shai Hermesh, the treasurer of the Jewish Agency, by remarking that the population is increasing rapidly, said that a "Zionist majority" is required; and thus, new settlements needed to be built.

Not to mention the oppression shown everyday by the state authorities and the humiliations directed at the checkpoints towards Palestinians, who are residing in the illegal settlement regions.

It"s being mentioned by a couple of observers that, Israel is actualizing similar apartheid regime implementations at the old Republic of South Africa. John Dugard, who was the special reporter of the UN that was involved in this, had said that the situation on the West Bank is even worse than that of the South Africa apartheid regime.

Dugard had asked the following in his report he had written in 2007: "Can it really be refused that the essential objective is; the dominance of one racial group (Jews) on another group (Palestinians) and continue this and to oppress them systematically?"

Israel is a colonist state, which regards itself as the only and rightful owner of the Palestinian lands. For this cause, they are trying every way from mass massacre to systematic torture, from robbing them of their basic needs to not giving them their basic needs.

There are no more properties that separate Gaza from a concentration camp. As Lawrence Weschler had said, refusing this reality can only be an "American Delirium".

The slaughter that continues for years, bombings ranging from UN schools to hospitals, and the massacres ranging from babies in their mother"s wombs to disabled women, are all obvious.

An Israeli representative is openly calling out for the killing of all Palestinian women, the raping of them by Israeli academicians and the Israeli rabis" annihilation of the whole Gaza community. A majority, who have been blinded by its arrogance and whose nationalism had destroyed their hearts, is living in Israel.

But as the Muslims of the country, we cannot do more than "Damn Israel".

The brigades of Izzettin El Kassam doesn"t want us to be their soldiers.

Halid Mesal, is not calling out for us to clash by their side.

May God bless them, with their limited opportunities; they are standing up to the world"s most advanced army and bringing them to its knees in a military sense.

What Hamas and Gaza expect from us is to make the public aware, which is created by Erdogan"s political leadership, as a society.

What they want from us is to scream to the world the facts that; Israel is a racist apartheid regime, Israel had put its signature under cruelties for years that fit the description of a "terror state", Hamas are not radical terrorists but rather a legitimate government that won the support of the society and thus elected, Palestine is a country that leaned towards accepting borders in 1967 but Israel is still the only country that hasn"t declared its own borders, Israel is disregarding Palestine"s right to exist and to protect itself….

Besides, we don"t have a technical or a fiscal obstacle qualifying us as unable to actualize this.

Then I am asking: What are we waiting for?

Let"s throw another rock to Israel. A short-movie, a feature-length movie, a youtube video, a poem, a flash mob, I don"t know something like this…

Of course, it"s valuable to shout slogans and to protest, but it"s in our hand to do more and fill the gaps in this struggle.

In brief, there are other ways to say "One minute".

Gaza is waiting for us.
