Massive protests erupt in Bangladesh following the martyrdom of anti-India leader

🇧🇩 Hundreds of thousands took to the streets across Bangladesh after the martyrdom of Sharif Osman Hadi, a rising political figure and one of the leading voices of the July Revolution that ousted dictator Hasina’s 16-year fascist rule.

Hadi was fatally shot in the head in Dhaka on Friday by an unidentified gunman allegedly linked to the pro-India Awami League party.

Reports suggest the suspect has fled the country and may be hiding in India, prompting public outrage and renewed calls for justice and accountability from the interim government.
