Iran’s Raisi praises bilateral relations with France, hopes to develop stronger economic and trade ties
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, praising improving relations with the European state based on mutual interests and respect.
Raisi underlined that it is necessary to boost cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic and trade fields.
The president added that parties must fulfill their obligations related to Iran's nuclear program.
Macron, in his turn, also stated that enhancing ties between Tehran and Paris was beneficial for both parties.
The French president noted that Iran and France could take steps to establish peace and stability in the region through joint cooperation.
