In a statement posted on social media platform X, the military confirmed that alerts were activated in several areas of northern Israel because of the infiltration of a hostile aircraft. The army said the results of the interception attempts were still being assessed and that no injuries had been reported.
Rocket warnings follow interception
The military added that alerts for rocket and missile fire were activated immediately following the interception attempts. Officials noted that assessment of the interception results was ongoing.
