Israeli army kills 6 Palestinians, including child, across Gaza

Medical sources and eyewitnesses said six Palestinians, including a 13-year-old boy, were killed in Israeli army attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, bringing the death toll from ongoing ceasefire violations since early October to nearly 1,000 according to figures from Gaza's Health Ministry.
Sunday attacks across Gaza
Israeli forces killed six Palestinians, including a 13-year-old child, in separate attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, medical sources and eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency, as violence continued to escalate nearly one month into a fragile ceasefire agreement. Four Palestinians died when Israeli strikes targeted commercial shops in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, while 30-year-old Zaki Mohammed al-Qarra and 13-year-old Amir al-Bashiti were killed in separate shootings near Khan Younis in the south. A Palestinian was also seriously injured in a drone strike on displacement tents in central Khan Younis, medical sources said.
Ceasefire violations mount
The Israeli army has carried out repeated airstrikes, gunfire attacks, and naval bombardments since Sunday morning, violating a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. Israeli naval vessels fired machine guns and shells toward the coast of Gaza City, while demolition operations targeted civilian structures in northern Gaza. The ministry reported that Israeli violations have killed 986 Palestinians and injured 3,138 others since the truce began.
Since Israel launched its military offensive on October 8, 2023, nearly 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 injured across the territory. Approximately 90 percent of civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, leaving hundreds of thousands displaced in temporary shelters that lack basic services and necessities.
