Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank have resulted in the detention of 10 Palestinians, including a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and his two sons. The raids across multiple cities included approximately 60 people being held for interrogation in Hebron, continuing a pattern of escalated military activity since October 2023.

Israeli forces have conducted multiple operations across the occupied West Bank, detaining 10 Palestinians and subjecting dozens more to interrogation. The raids represent continued Israeli military activity in the territory, which has intensified significantly since the outbreak of hostilities in Gaza in October 2023.

Targeted Detentions in Northern West Bank

In the northern city of Nablus, nine individuals were taken into custody, including Jamal Tirawi, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, along with his two sons. Israeli troops raided Tirawi's residence in the Balata refugee camp before making the arrests. An additional Palestinian youth was detained in Tulkarem during separate operations in the northern West Bank region.

Interrogations and Property Damage in Hebron

The southern city of Hebron saw extensive military activity for the fourth consecutive day, with Israeli forces entering numerous homes and causing property damage. Local sources reported that approximately 60 Palestinians were taken in for questioning during these operations, reflecting a pattern of intensified security measures in the southern West Bank.

Broader Context and Palestinian Response

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has characterized the ongoing settler violence and military operations in cities including Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron as "terrorist attacks." Official statements describe these actions as part of a systematic policy aimed at creating conditions conducive to displacement, while calling for international protection and accountability under international law.
