Jews protest Gaza attack
The Jewish group JAG held a memorial service for Palestinian children killed by Israel in its current attack on Gaza
A worldwide Jewish movement,Jews Against Genocide, or JAG, held a protest condemning the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip on July 12, 2014, in Habima square, Tel Aviv.
JAG set aflame a pile of dolls covered in red paint at Yad Vashem, Israel''s holocaust memorial museum.
The protest was organized after the Israeli military bombed the Gaza strip, killing Palestinian women and children.
The Jewish group claimed that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza by killing innocent Palestinians.
''The war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza today are the latest stage of an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide against the indigenous people of this land.'' JAG said in a written statement.
The Jewish group also invited compassionate people from across the global to stand against Israeli inhuman aggression and organize protests in front of Israeli embassies and consulates around the world.
Israeli military planes have been pounding the Gaza Strip since July 7 with the stated aim of halting rocket fire from the Palestinian territory.
Israel's military operation, dubbed "Operation Protective Edge," is the self-proclaimed Jewish state's third major offensive against the embattled Gaza Strip – home to some 1.8 million Palestinians – in the last six years.
