"3 S" formula and things that the Prime Minister doesn"t want

He spoke on the lectern with a Palestinian shemagh around his neck.

When Özal became a presidential candidate he had said, "I''m committing myself to you."

As for Erdogan, he said, "I want you to know that as I''m bidding farewell to you, I''ve no regrets."

While he was bidding farewell, he was sensitive.

I observed the meeting room as the Prime Minister spoke. Women parliamentarians were crying and congressmen were trying to hide their tears, but eventually they weren''t successful.

In the same meeting room, I''ve watched Özal''s farewell and Demirel''s departure.

Each had different sceneries.

Erdogan started his speech by saying, "I had addressed you from this lectern for 13 years."

"When we look back on the 13 years, we see that we had preserved the pride and honor of this lectern."

God is witness.

Public is witness.

Mostly this lectern is witness,

So much that it became the unbending head of Islam.

Became the strong voice of the national will,

The oppressed''s protector.

We had always protected the nation''s and lectern''s honor.

God is witness that we consent to this.

Also, may God consent to it.

May god bless it with good luck.

It was the sign of the struggle.

It was the symbol, the flag.

Now that sign is stepping up to Çankaya, now that flag is planted at the Presidential office.

Alongside it, a meaning is walking towards Çankaya.

Gaza''s orphan Yasin and Cairo''s martyr Esma appear.

The outcast''s someone, poor''s voice, Islam''s triumphant son steps up to the presidency.

Farewell to the Prime Ministry and welcome to the Presidency.

This was the scene experienced.

As Erdogan steps up to the Presidency, he is designing his party in order to make sure that they can maintain the same values.

The New Era''s password is "3 S".

A Strong President.

A Strong Prime Minister.

Strong Personnel.

The Prime Minister had revealed what he didn''t want in the topic of AK Party and the Prime Ministry after his departure.

What he wants is just as important as what he doesn''t want.

He is explaining what will not happen and in this sense, he is drawing a frame.

Since it cannot always be Picasso''s tableaux, this is Erdogan''s Prime Ministry tableaux.

Now by looking at this tableau, it''s possible to make readings about what the Prime Minister doesn''t want.

1- He doesn''t want a separate chairman and prime minister model.

He doesn''t find a double-headed politics right. He believes that this will cause conflicts and loss of time and blood within the party.

2- He doesn''t want the three terms rule to be lifted. In this way, he wants to keep AK Party always renewed and staying young.

CHP is an old party. It''s a party, in which May 27"s Founding Council Member Oktay Eksi, the night of May 27"s ardent CHP member Yilmaz Büyükersen and one of the faces from pro-September 12, Adnan Kesk, are all making politics. That was 1960, now it''s 2014....

The ones, who had gone on a politic adventure in the 1960''s with Demirel, had ended up taking tasks at DYP. Even though ANAP wasn''t a long-lasting party in Turkish politics, these people had aged in this party.

What had been their end?

The public is leaving aside a movement that doesn''t renew itself, and continuing their way with a new party. The best living example of this is AK Party.

However, if they don''t renew themselves, then AK Party will become an old party someday as well.

3- He wants to enter the congress with a single candidate. He doesn''t want a congress where candidates are competing. He sees that if the names are clashing and groups are formed and faction movements start, then AK Party will rot.

4- He doesn''t want a caretaker name or a fading prime minister. He wants a prime minister, who is regarded as "running, perspiring" in the eyes of the public.

Because he knows it clearly that in order to carry out that great transformation in his head, he needs an election-winning party and a strong government under his command.

5- He doesn''t want early elections.

He doesn''t lean towards evaluations like entering the elections with the dynamism and strength gathered from the presidential elections and becoming victorious with a majority that is enough for changing the Constitution. He had already said this clearly in ATV''s program. Erdogan wants to see whether this new name will cause excitement between the ranks of the base and his performance.

This is what the Prime Minister doesn''t want.

As Erdogan was bidding farewell to AK Party, he had the Palestinian shemagh around his neck. He wants to see the person, who will become the Chairman of the AK Party group, to wear a Palestinian shemagh around his neck as well.
