The snipers of the old times turned into labelists nowadays. Those who were backing article 367 during Mr. Abdullah Gül''s presidency and those who applauded the April 27 memorandum are now talking about values such as ethics, morality and virtue.
According to them, the Prime Minister must resign. All right, is there such a regulation in the Constitution? Let us ask a few questions. Does it exist in the article 114 or 102 in the constitution? Does the number ''298'' exist in the law or in the law of presidential election or the YSK (higher election committee) notice?
There is no such thing in the world. I tell you! Even that ''village headman'' whom you love is not likely to give his resignation. Did you only recall the political ethics when the word came to Recep Tayyip Erdogan? Wasn''t this the same ethics that was invented at the time of article 367?
If the prime minister were to resign, they would win the elections. That''s their formula.
They are so badly broken in their minds with Erdogan that Ertugrul Özkök calls him ''silent God'', for God''s sake! I ask God''s shelter from such a phrase. As if, there was a ''God with a voice''. You may hate Erdogan, but do not take it to the level of insulting the notion of God. This is clearly paganism, just letting you know!
At this very point, I want to share the analysis that the Prime Minister made at MYKY (central executive board).
''Their problem is not with us, but our values and the society we represent.''
This is a remark that the sociology of politics must focus on.
At MKYK, AK Party is trying to lay down the election campaign preparations to the table. However, it is also opening it to discussion. The Prime Minister says, ''Our approach regarding the power centers and media will continue.'' He adds, ''They used to come to us. We were having a dialogue and when the hub of air changed, they were turning back to their usual position''.
He shares an observation, ''When they want to have a dialogue, I realize a menacing message in their attitude. It''s as though they are saying, ''look, our strength was good enough for Çiller and others among prime ministers. It is also enough for you.'' I am giving my reply in turn saying ''as long as my people are behind me, your power is not enough for me."
These words in one sense summarize the kernel of the politics Recep Tayyip Erdogan pursues. It also sheds light on the presidential election as well as the future.
The Prime Minister checks the members of MKYK at the beginning and at the end of this comment twice and says, ''The people and truth are enough for us''.
This is such a word that should not be only hung on posters in the rally spots, but in our minds. In fact, this is his mystery that took him out of the Pinarhisar Prison up to the summit of the Çankaya palace.
His formula is relying on the nation and the truth (God).
I also want to share his other word at MKYK:
''We did not come to this point with power centers nor media. We came to this point through the people''s support and the help of God. The people and the truth (God) are enough for us.''
This is a complete mind of submission to the truth (God).
Now I want to share quite an emotional anecdote from MYKY, as the road map towards the presidential election was becoming crystal-clear.
Malatya MP Öznur Çelik raises the question, ''Is this the last meeting?'' The Prime Minister replies, ''No, I will be back.'' It is evident that he is going to organize another MKYK. Sema Kirci says ,''We are glad that you are rising to Çankaya, but we will feel like orphans after you.''
The Prime Minister consoles them saying that he will still be leading them. There is a highly meticulous activity on work regarding the presidential election. The Prime Minister Erdogan is taking the election very seriously and is making important warnings with respect to it.
He says, ''Do not lose your energy.'' Then lists a set of items.
1. Don''t make any blunder during the campaign
2. We should weigh more importance on rallies.
3. We should be in contact with the people on a personal basis. Let everybody be present among the public.
4. Let us lead our electors to the ballot box. We should get the voter on vacation to the elections.
After these talks, in order to conduct the election campaign, a committee was established consisting of Ömer Çelik, Yalçin Akdogan, Hüseyin Çelik, Süleyman Soylu, Mustafa Sentop, Mahir Ünal and Ibrahim Uslu.
AK Party is doing this before every election campaign. What about a word about the future PM?
A kind of cold hub of air covers the meeting as no one wants to touch on this subject. Even though some bring it up, in general people avoid it, because it is known that Erdogan is uncomfortable with discussing this subject prior to the presidential election. Even so, he considers this as a red line.
This type of discussion is scrupulously avoided since it can hinder the motivation. This is the will of Prime Minister Erdogan, too.
