Zionism: the enemy of civilization...

In ancient Greece, when the Spartans—the very Spartans that the Zionist genocider named Netanyahu aspires to when he says "we will make Israel a super Sparta"—entered Attic territory, the first thing they did was burn the fields, olive trees, vineyards, and orchards in the countryside. Meanwhile, the rural population would have withdrawn to Athens, which was surrounded by walls all the way to the port of Piraeus, before the Spartans arrived.

Most of us have heard the stories of Ottoman soldiers leaving money in pouches for the grape clusters they picked from vines while on campaign. This is a difference in civilization. The Roman historian Tacitus, while criticizing the Roman Empire's invasion of Britain, said: "They create a desolation and call it peace."

The Zionists, who have received no share of civilization, are turning the Palestinian lands they occupy into a desert with American bombs, and calling it "Israel's right to self-defense." The Zionists, who admire the Spartans, have long not only turned Palestine, known for its olive groves, into a desert, but have also sold this to the educated ignoramuses of the Western world as "Israel performed a green miracle in a land without people, made of deserts."

The Spartans had a custom of periodically hunting and killing the young of the Helots—farmers and slaves whose lands they had occupied. Killing an adult Helot was rewarded. Spartan terror was an inhuman tool of oppression over the Helots. Israel treats Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza in the same way. They call it "mowing the grass."

The Spartans were sustained solely by the produce of the Helots. While the Spartan population, who lived almost their entire lives as soldiers, gradually decreased, the Helots continued to multiply despite the massacres. The Helots, who greatly outnumbered the Spartans, revolted at every opportunity. These revolts, which were Sparta's nightmare, played a significant role in Sparta's downfall.

When rival powers invaded, Sparta did not have enough soldiers. Sparta, the most powerful land-based military state of ancient Greece, gradually faded. While many monuments remain from ancient Athens, nothing of value remains from ancient Sparta. Listen to what the American historian-philosopher Will Durant says about Sparta:

"Militarism devoured it and turned this once so honored city into a terror hated by its neighbors. All nations marveled at its fall, but none mourned. Today, among the sparse remains of that ancient capital, there is almost no statue torso or fallen column left to show that Greeks once lived here."

Everyone knows what the Zionists have done in Gaza and the West Bank to destroy both the physical and ecological structure. They do not stop at killing Palestinians; they even torture and kill animals. Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is a genocider so deranged that he declares 30-40 Palestinians should be killed every day.

In southern Lebanon, which it occupies, Israel is also bombing entire villages out of existence and forcing the population to flee north. As if that were not enough, they set oak and pine forests on fire and destroy olive groves. On the other hand, they use phosphorus bombs that contaminate the soil with lead and other heavy metals to prevent crops from growing. The systematic destruction of the agricultural ecosystem aims to prevent those forced to flee from returning to the lands where they have lived for hundreds of years. Israel is making southern Lebanon and other occupied territories uninhabitable under the guise of creating a "buffer zone" or "security zone."

All of this has been documented. Everything that belongs to civilization is being destroyed—people and all other living beings within it. The US and other Western administrations do nothing to rein in Israel beyond grumbling. On the contrary, shipments of weapons, bombs, and parts to Israel continue through open and covert channels. In many Western countries, even protesting Israel is suppressed or punished with the label of "anti-Semitism."

Israel's genocide, carried out openly and without restraint before the world's eyes, the enemy of civilization, will go down in history as a symbol of Western civilization's moral bankruptcy. As Will Durant noted, Sparta brought about its own end. The saying "Tell me who you admire, and I'll tell you what your end will be" fits perfectly here.
