Die Slowly

The great Chilean poet Pablo Neruda had been deeply affected by the trauma created by the Spanish Civil War. This war was the first time he had seen how close and perceivable death was. The death of Garcia Lorca, who he loved extremely, had almost consumed him. Maybe these were the feelings that inspired his poem "Die Slowly". These lines from his poetry had articulated the feelings of not only the Hispanics, but also the ones who had enough of the wars.

In front of the world"s eye, Israel, which is a tyrant country, is carrying out a massacre. Israel is taking pleasure in emptying the ammos of heavy weapons on babies, children and women. It doesn"t even show any heartbreak. Death must be appealing to Israel.

This situation is just like a godfather beating up small children with his hundreds of men. The world doesn"t even say a single word about this massacre. They don"t even open their mouths. On the contrary, Western civilization is applauding. With their neutrality principle, they are clearly showing that they are taking sides.

They don"t feel remorse or sadness. After the rocket, which targeted the kids playing on the beach, failed to hit the target on the first attempt, they are acting like patronages of the one who didn"t feel shame as they pull the trigger for the second time.

They say that Israel has the right to defend itself. Do the bombs that are handmade out of tin give them these rights? It"s shameful and sinful. One of the world"s strongest armies is sending warplanes and springs their warships at attention. Even the weekend commandos are called for mission. They are attacking the wretched Palestinian community, who are defending themselves with sticks and stones, with third world war tactics.

On top of all that, they are shutting down the border gates. CIA"s toy Sisi is shutting metal doors to the faces of people, who are injured and looking for help. Where is Muslimism, where is Islam"s helpful language? Okay, maybe the added value of 55 Muslim countries is not equal to a Germany. But, since when did humanity begin to be expressed with added values? Everyone is watching the deaths as if they are watching a movie. They are always finding excuses. Even when an experiment is conducted on a cat, the cat will be given space to escape. They are even considering being too much.

You are strong Israel. You have all kinds of weapons, lobbies and big brothers. How much more will you keep on hitting, how many more will you kill? Might as well throw a nuclear bomb and erase Palestine completely off the maps. After all, if it goes like this, you won"t let any human live. For now on, you have the power. Nobody is telling you to stop. Nobody is telling you not to do this. Muslims" miserable condition is suiting your book.

You are not aware that every bullet you fire and every bomb you throw is actually killing you. You have wasted the humanity in this way. You had awakened the daunted winds inside of us. The ones who consigned you this power is also partners of this crime. It won"t be long enough before you understand that you cannot reach anywhere when you are saying that you are right in a situation where you are not.

You Israel and the ones that back you up by keeping quiet over this crime, all of you are killing your self-respect. We are never forgetting Pablo Neruda"s "Only a burning patience will lead to the attainment of a splendid happiness". Let"s see how much more will you keep on hitting and when will you win over your rage? It makes one curious, is there anyone left between your ranks that hasn"t lost his/her humane feelings? Thanks God, there are some Jewish brothers who can come out and say "but this is too much". The ones, who had their share of humanity, even if not with their full strength, are shouting as much as they can. West"s, which call itself the center of neutrality, liberal and freedom of speech, CNN reporter cannot even tolerate a slightest criticism towards Israel. How can you explain this? Thank you CNN for confirming the "West is free" lie to us.

Sad, really sad. The hearts of people, who are crying about peace on the inside and emphasizing on democracy on the outside, are lost against babies and children"s deaths. You are dying slowly. You are being consumed. You are not aware that you had lost this war, which you assumed to have won. The fake religionists are saying, "Israel-Palestine should make peace", as if two equal sides are fighting... You are one of them. You don"t have a soul. The ones who cannot say a word against Israel because of your fears. The ones who are saying "Serves them right" to these deaths because they are not delighted with Islam. You are one of those Roman kings, who throw gladiators in front of lions and take pleasure in watching them ripped to shreds.

Know this; you are all dying slowly. You cannot escape dying slowly. We desire to reach pain with our hopeless destiny as it is in Neruda"s "Canto General" poem.

Let me bear the pain

Under your flags and

Bury myself like a dead root

That will never shine.

I want to descend to earth
