They are telling us: 'Keep your hands off Syria'

We are witnessing developments that bode no good, that can lead from one shock to another while leaving historic marks. These developments which we see, experience, and are at least aware of, are in no way limited to political circles, terrorist organizations or even states.

I am talking about a permanent disposition aimed at the entire region. I am talking about the renewal of political maps, the danger of certain nations being pulled behind history, the efforts of some being pushed into history-making positions and the desire to shape some countries as the headquarters of the regional war.

Turkey is right at the center of all these developments. Whether as a player or a victim, it is at the center. Because it is situated at the center of the region. I am talking about the existence of a comprehensive multinational intervention aimed at Turkey – which has made about fifty years' progress as a player in the last decade – to weaken its quality as a player, particularly after the multinational counter-coup in Egypt, and rapidly force it into the victim position.

Every development just south of our borders is an indication of this. The attack in capital Ankara on Saturday that deeply grieved the entire country is an indication of this. The political polarization within Turkey is an indication of this. The will patching political parties with terrorist organizations is an indication of this.

We might be overstating, exaggerating and giving news of plots that may be perceived as sensations. Yet those who know little about the last century, those who follow the developments within our borders as well as those just outside, will share our concerns.

We no longer have any choice but to accept the reality that the conflict of powers, which is giving the impression of a world war, has no mercy on any country, no respect for any nation, that a ruthless historic era has started and that our region will be paying the heaviest price for this conflict. If we don't accept it today, we will experience all this within the next couple of years.

Hence, a complete state of alert, a complete state of alarm is mandatory for Turkey. Border and map drafts will impact Turkey. The fronts formed on the inside, the polarizations that have been made permanent, the rapid restriction of common areas are all indications of this danger.

Our blindness, the weakening of the state's mind, the breaking of Turkey's backbone is the greatest enemy. The project turning all the differences among our people into a battlefield is being violently implemented. This project, in its current state, is a greater threat than any invasion attempt.

We shouldn't allow the terrorist attacks to blind us. We should avoid indignation and fury from leading us to make mistakes. There are no more terrorist organizations. Each organization is the extension of the tender of a regional project. Although some might take action based on ethnic grounds and some based on sectarian identities, et cetera, all of the terrorist organizations in our region are groups carrying out the dirty works of the intervention aimed at the region. Political parties or circles that are their extensions are the tools used to present these dirty plans to the public.

Terrorist attacks are no longer acts of terrorism but an intervention. It doesn't matter who the hitman is or which organization claimed responsibility or did it. There is always a comprehensive political plan behind every terrorist attack.

The era of terrorist organizations in the strict sense and the era of terrorist attacks in the strict sense have long closed. This is because in our region, terrorist organizations are replacing states, affairs carried out from state to state are now changing to be carried out from state to terrorist organization.

Being stuck on who pulled the trigger in the terrorist attack, who detonated the bomb, as the chaos, which is an extension of the map operations carried out in the region, is introduced to our country, forcing our borders, reaching our cities, all terrorist organizations being somehow activated within this scope, a terror consortium being formed and released into Turkey, would be the eclipse of the mind.

The bomb that was detonated in our capital Ankara on Saturday was planned to cause ethnic and sectarian separation among the people. But that's not all. It is part of the invasion attempt launched at our borders, in our southeastern districts. It is an extension of the “domestic invasion" dictated through media and capital.

It is not only adjusted to hit the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan or the government; it is part of a plan to directly hit Turkey, to turn it into Syria. The social separation within, the invasion attempt that has been launched, the separation in the region are each actually a piece of the same picture.

The suicide bombers might be identified; the terrorist organization to which they belong may also be revealed, but the powers behind them will never be found. Right after Sept. 11, all bombs that exploded in all corners of the world from Indonesia to Spain, were all “al-Qaida attacks!" All cases labeled al-Qaida have been closed, because al-Qaida was merely a guise.

As for today, all complex and obscure scenarios are being covered with the claim that “ISIL did it." Don't forget, all cases labeled ISIL will be closed and those attacks will never be solved. Because they are all messages that exceed terrorist organizations, they are a part of comprehensive projects.

For the past century, Turkey has been putting on an incredible resistance to survive in this region. It is trying to be a strong fortress, a final safe haven. The walls of this fortress have been worn down for the last three years. Therefore, there is no other choice but to further empower that amazing tradition of resistance.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu's struggle, President Erdoğan's resistance are all extensions of this historic showdown. Such a political mind, such a resistance can save Turkey's future. If country is the matter, then it doesn't matter to which political circle we belong. Even those who hate Erdoğan need to understand that this is Turkey's struggle and thus take their position.

The day that suicide bombers detonated themselves in Ankara, we received news that the Saudi king was assassinated. It is said he was poisoned and is in a coma and there is talk of a coup in Riyadh. Also on the same day, Masoud Barzani makes statements in support of Turkey. On that very day, Barzani-linked party buildings are set on fire and people die. Iran and the PKK are trying to eliminate Barzani and punish him for his relationship with Turkey.

Whenever Turkey takes a step forward in Syria, deals a blow at the Democratic Union Party's (PYD) political plans and the People's Protection Units' (YPG) military plots, there is always a “terrorist attack carried out under the guise of ISIL" on the inside. It will likely be revealed that ISIL was behind the Ankara attack. However, this will not satisfy those who are like me.
