Palestine and President Erdoğan Take Center Stage at the UN

Israel’s 75-year occupation of Palestine entered a completely new phase on October 7. The Izzettin Kassam Brigades crossing the Gaza border and returning with prisoners sent shockwaves across the world. Considering the power of Zionist media, which dominates global narratives, all media noise and influence was overwhelmingly against the Palestinians. For all authorities, including leaders of Arab states who had maintained their legitimacy over 50 years by supporting the Palestinian cause, the climate was ripe for declaring “Hamas is terrorist.”

True leadership is about faith, fairness, justice, and standing with the oppressed. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took to the screens and stated, “Members of Hamas are National Forces protecting their lands against occupiers.”

The President’s bold declaration was as powerful as an atomic bomb to Zionists, imperialists, and the millions of Jews, Christians, and Muslims who have become their subservient followers.

The manifestation of truth and divine justice is evident: This week at the UN, witnessing the global public opinion forming against Israel, the anti-Israel protests from east to west across cities, the stance of principled people in the media, and pro-Palestinian, anti-Zionist protests at award ceremonies, football matches, and every staged arena, it has become clear that in two years, at least half the world’s population might think as President Erdoğan does — a topic worthy of a PhD.

Standing on the right side, siding with justice, and reflecting the truth has shown how quickly the fate of nations can change. Seeing Israel suffer a diplomatic defeat at the UN with one’s own eyes was highly meaningful.

First came the Palestine meeting organized with initiatives from France and Saudi Arabia, followed by a summit with Muslim leaders in which Trump and President Erdoğan played key roles. Heads of state from Spain, Colombia, Chile, France, the UK, South Africa, Iran, Qatar, and many more openly criticized Israel’s genocide from the UN podium. Speeches by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Colombian President Gustavo Petro, Chilean President Gabriel Boric, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani resonated widely with the global public.

Every statement made by these heads of state against Israel is important. The common view among Palestinians and all those whose hearts side with Palestine is that Turkey’s President Erdoğan delivered the most effective speech at the UN General Assembly.

Consider this: Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, could not get a visa to come to the U.S. Normally, even as the head of a state that has lost 100,000 citizens, while Hamas continues to govern Gaza and the West Bank is being occupied with villagers displaced from their lands — similar events occurring in Gaza and the West Bank — Mahmoud Abbas cannot speak to the conscience of people as President Erdoğan can. In this context, both the Spanish Prime Minister and our President became the spokespersons for every pro-Palestinian in the world. The resistance gained even greater strength.

Had anyone said that a handful of Hamas fighters could change the world, no one would have believed it.

Key outcomes:

The Zionist monopoly worldwide has been shaken, and Israel will never have a better day than today.

For 50 years, anyone who spoke outside the Zionist monopoly would see their life ruined — artists, politicians, businesspeople… Whoever stepped out of this monopoly’s line faced ruin. Today, those who criticize it find themselves not ruined but in advantageous positions.

France and the UK were states whose sovereignty Israel had disregarded. Today, Canada, Austria, France, and the UK have all courageously recognized Palestine simultaneously.

Israel’s absolute dominance over the U.S. has weakened.

Israel can only survive through assassinations and terror methods, as in the Charlie Kirk case. Everyone knows how long mafia-like states last.

Everyone who took to the streets, protested, boycotted, and took risks for Palestine saw that one person can change the world.

The stance of strong political figures like President Erdoğan in favor of justice has extraordinarily strengthened anti-Israel sentiment worldwide.

The Zionists became so arrogant that they acted as if the Creator of the universe did not exist. We know the Greatest is Allah. These perverse actors have declared war on Allah and His religion.

Divine justice has shown us the first days of these vampires’ humiliation on earth.

After the UN meeting, President Erdoğan’s discussion with Trump and the atmosphere it created — with Erdoğan receiving the highest-level respect from Trump for his scathing criticism of Israeli genocide at the UN — once again demonstrated Türkiye’s power and Erdoğan’s influential position among world leaders.

I have always emphasized: Intellectuals and academia in Türkiye must give form and substance to this new vision and power. Civilization cannot be built with “infidel admiration” or with submission to those who hold the cultural authority established by Zionists.

Our political leaders, like icebreakers in the Arctic, are carving out major paths. Those left behind collect nothing but their petty pride and mediocrity. Let us see what God will do.
