Çankaya and united vessels theory…

The fact, that every development occurring in our region has been shaped, affected and triggered by one another, according to the "United Vessels Theory", has started to attract our attention. There are a couple of reasons for this. First of all, Turkey does not accept a guardian in its foreign policy anymore. Naturally, even the foreign policy decisions had fallen right in the middle of the supremacy struggle, which is happening domestically. Now, domestic and foreign politics" shadows are intersecting with each other more frequently. In this sense, the proactive foreign politics line had become a natural extension of the sovereignty struggle, which the country has been experiencing for the past 12 years. This is quite normal.

Since the Resolution Process refers to creating a relationship with the Kurds living in four other countries via a new mentality, it is an alteration that is threatening the Sykes-Picot layout in Middle East all by itself. In this way, this "domestic problem", which cost 40 thousand lives and whose last period continued for 30 years, automatically creates an effect that exceeds borders. In other words, when you attempt to make peace with the Kurds in your country, you are also creating a more global lever, which can"t be independent from this and is discomforting some people.

Turkey is the continuation of an empire, which had ruled over seven million square kilometers for 600 years, even though attempts had been made to erase this from our memories. Metaphysical borders can be put away by the Sykes-Picot logic and "alphabet massacre". Other than the Kurds, who spread over four countries, the relative communities, which have spread over neighboring countries, and memory, are the points in question. These countries are your neighbors: when you turn your back, history and current political interaction does not disappear. Being aware of this situation shouldn"t be expressing resurrecting Ottomans or a hollow bragging. However, you cannot think of Turkey independently from its historical and geopolitical features. Since, even if you choose to do so, the truth stays there.

It"s not a coincidence that a totalitarian-laic and privileged oligarchy in Turkey had become the foreign politics field to one of the war zones. This will be formulized as "Guardianship at home, Guardianship in the world", according to the rule stating foreign and domestic guardianship are like two soul mates that complete one another. The most important factor that guarantees two guardianships is the fact that the country is being held as a convict in terms of economics. Since the 1848 Ottoman-Britannia Trading Agreement, Turkey has been in an economical trap. Mustafa Kemal was aware of this, but he died while he was surrounded. Menderes, essentially wanted to break this trap and he was executed because he couldn"t do so.

Today, under Erdogan"s leadership, Turkey can be effective in its region, and if this impact is becoming a target on the inside and outside, then the reason behind it is the critical success in breaking the economical trap. For example, having no debts to IMF will be presented as a praised objective if you are in fact indebted to them. When you become capable of lending, they you will become a target, because the process would not been completed yet and whether you can remain standing or not would be still unclear.

The unity government was on the verge of carrying out the presidential and general elections, which were constantly postponed. Though, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was neither preventing settlement activities nor releasing the Palestinian captives according to the agreement. As for Kerry, he was making statements that were holding Israel responsible.

Suddenly, Gaza had been blamed for the deaths of three Jewish youth, even though Hamas fiercely refused to have anything to do with these murders, and war had been started. Mursi"s collapse was a disaster for Palestine.

Mursi had been overthrown in Egypt; ISIL had torn Iraq into pieces. After unity has been provided in Palestine, it brought forward the Gaza massacre. As for Turkey, is attempts have been made to overthrow another freedom leader, Erdogan, since the MIT crisis on February 7, 2012. All of these are related with each other. Erdogan being lynched with a neo-con language under the topic of "Turkey"s collapsing foreign policy "over the Syria, Iraq and Palestine matter, this language becoming a jargon shared even by the opposition party during elections, and Ihsanoglu"s "We should have been neutral about Palestine matter. We shouldn"t have opened the Syria border. There is no such thing as a Kurdish scientific language" statements are not a coincidence.

The good news is: as a contradiction to the past, this situation has been deciphered by the public. As for Öcalan, he had solved this schedule years ago and by making a moral choice, he didn"t choose opportunism in this schedule, but rather he stood by the new layout, which is against guardianship.

In brief, the sovereignty struggle in Turkey is between internal-external guardianship supporters and public rulership. The one, who is trying to establish the public"s sovereignty at Çankaya and the country, is the leader Erdogan. In such a critical historical process, the ones, who are chasing small accounts, or the ones, who are being an endorsement to bigger accounts, have no chance to stay hidden. Turkey"s biggest chance is its economical power and the reformist public masses understanding Erdogan"s political value perfectly.

The totalitarian-laic segments, which they had driven mad with their hatred expressions, might not be able to see this schedule clearly. But in the case of Turkey becoming an Egypt or Ukraine, without distinguishing between party and category, history will enslave the new generation to a painful future. As for the ones who are chasing equilibriums in order to stay comfortable, they will be unable to find the peace they are seeking.

The genie has escaped the flask. Everything we will experience, whether negative or positive, will be a new thing.
