Knowing one"s place is good…

Sometimes "truth" can present itself obviously to people and humanity is expected to be liable for this "truth"; but when it"s found out that it isn"t so, first it will cause confusion and then be terrifying. Possibly from here, a hatred station would be reached.

Before anything else, humankind has a problem with "knowing his/her place". Being impertinent is caused when humans are not able to know their limited capacities. If this "being impertinent" issue had stayed as a social decorum problem, then it would have been fine. As much as this situation disambiguates humanity to many symptoms like skidding in to the dark side, it also causes another thing. When one is being presumptuous, then one will even become unable to evaluate one"s potentials left within the boundary limits. In other words, it swings like a pendulum between the "hurting other people and lawsuit by overstepping the mark" situation and the "being deprived of useful actions left within boundary" points.

The "knowing one"s place" issues had neither solved secular nor religious world doctrines. After all, it seems like the secular world has no such claim. As a matter of fact, the "individual" phenomenon had puffed up beyond its measure and thus became a narrowness, which leaves no place for the individual. When the idea of saving the individual from a congregation"s pressure had taken the form of ripping the individual from the congregation, then principally it"s "reason for existence" would be taken off its hands. An individual is compelled to envisage him/herself as a part of the community in order to become an individual and thus to actualize it.

Moreover, an individual requires the existence of a community in order to be alone. The other ones will amount to a gap that is desolated for purposelessness. The culture crisis in the West is arising from this essential issue. Accordingly, a Western individual, who knows his/her limits, will be paying attention, not just to his/her own needs, but also to other people, animals and environment in the world. Thus, it would be impossible to transform that individual into a consumption black hole, and to use them as a basis to its selfish policies, which are taking his/her life style under guarantee. Accordingly, when a Western individual knows its place, then it would amount to opening its own boundary limits to the invasion of a supreme institution. They will try to remove the pain of people, who are fascinated with the idea that they are free eternally, with an anti-depressant sector and the new-age moral flow. Of course, in exchange for a serious charge…

While we are mentioning West and East, I would like to remind you that this is not a geographic description. We are talking of a hybrid world, which is interfered by the Western life style, and, in which the Western life style becomes partially or completely successful in transforming the authenticity. The phenomenon, which we call West and East, are even intertwined within an individual. Besides, the types of questions we"ve mentioned above were living in the world before modern times (even though it wasn"t this complex). The problem is this had transformed into a systematic intervention style in modern times. The resistance, which had presented itself against the exploitation at the Islamic geography and at all the aggrieved societies and states of the East, had paved the way to internalization less than the paradoxes of modernism.

Naturally, a financier from Manhattan will feel a more meaningful loss than a financier from Gaza feels. When we witness that happiness indexes are incompatible with countries" development and richness scales, we will be surprised. We would be astonished to see that societies, which are advanced in death rates, are at the top of the list. We would be most likely thinking via the value systems that are dictated to us.

Though, the "knowing one"s place" problem also exists in this world. Because this is an essential problem. Religions always call on the believers to "know their place". Knowing that God has created us and even though he honored us with being the master of the world, we are still his servants, and will be good for humans. Death is less scary. Christianity has collapsed in the West and congregations have been scattered. However, the religion in the East has been a shelter against tyranny and injustice. This shelter protects the congregation and keeps them together. Being together, unity, staying the same and resistance give hope to humans. Before money and property, devoting his/her life to something good makes one happy. This is one of the important secrets and opportunities of this life.

Even so, people still will not know their place. There is no "instinctual" difference between saving the world in the name of religion and in the name of science.

As Cioran had said, a prophet snoozes within every human and when that awakens, the cruelty in the world increases even more. Religions must have seen this, for they frequently warned their believers about fake prophecy. If an individual, who doesn"t know his/her boundary, declares his fake prophecy, he would be using an authority that doesn"t belong to him. Using an authority that doesn"t belong to one, means being used.

For this reason, a hand in the universe constantly deals with the equalization task. It will push the one, who falls below more than one"s boundary, upwards and thus pushes the one, who rises more than one"s boundary, below. Even the spiritual world has its atmosphere. Several systems work in order to keep us in the field, in which the legitimate life exists. I call this God"s will; I also respect what others say. However, in my opinion, the existence of such a system is certain. The ones, who don"t know their places, will later be liquidated from the time limitation allowed to them and also several other opportunities.

Being impertinent is the most essential human and humanity problem. There won"t be any peace or happiness there. The one, who is being impertinent, would have buttoned up his/her shirt wrongly and before fixing that none of their work will go right. Their conscience actions won"t be confirmed. Even between the ranks of people, who seem sure of this, a splinter will constantly be found.

Knowing one"s place is good…
