Israel Is a Pariah State!

Settlers and settler expansionism are the hallmark of Israel’s colonial ambitions. This crucial difference represents one side of Zionism as an ideology. Zionists knowingly chose this path. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when Zionism was inherited from the Anglo-Saxons, only settler colonialism existed. Over time, the second face of Zionism emerged through Holocaust and pogrom narratives. The often-repeated “Israel's right to self-defense” has obscured both the settler expansionism and the evangelical Christian roots of Zionist ideology. However, this had a limit, and now that limit has become evident. In the early days of the Syrian revolution, when Israel took advantage of the situation to occupy the Golan and announced it would relocate settlers there, the boundaries of expansionism became apparent.

Richard Falk points out that Israel’s pariah state status has become more prominent over time. Zionists had blamed Jews who wanted to assimilate into Western societies, but in the end, they couldn’t go beyond trying to make Israel acceptable to the West. Christian Zionists shared the same views on assimilation as the Zionists. As a result, they deployed the Zionists to create a new Europe in the Eastern Mediterranean. This is not a complicated matter. Zionists acted on behalf of Christian Zionists. When they saw that the Anglo-Saxons' ambitions in the Eastern Mediterranean aligned with their own ideals, they had no hesitation in establishing volunteer units. This is not a conspiracy theory. The Anglo-Saxons and Zionists made a grand deal through Judaism and Christianity, and the foundations of the Israeli colony in Palestine were laid.

The Anglo-Saxons darkened the colonial nature of Israel to ensure unconditional support for it in the West. After World War II, Zionists led orientalist studies. They did everything they could to ensure the continuity of the West’s unconditional support for Israel. However, in order to maintain this support, Israel had to keep winning. For this reason, until the last Gaza genocide, Israel acted with lightning speed in all its expansionist wars. They faced no issues in keeping settler terrorism out of sight. In fact, to them, Jews were returning to their homeland, they weren’t settlers. Israel had the right to self-defense in a hostile environment. The Palestinians were resisting in vain. The Arabs were ready for peace. With the Abraham Accords, a final solution would be reached, and a new chapter would be opened.

The agreement between Christian Zionists and Zionists succeeded until martyr Yahya Sinwar disrupted the game. However, Sinwar gave a lethal response. After this lethal response, Hamas did not take a single step back. The complicity of the U.S., the U.K., and Germany in the crimes of genocide was laid bare. Today, no one can explain the U.S. and U.K.'s unconditional support for Israel solely through the power of Jewish lobbies. The Jewish lobbies have likely realized that they’ve become unemployed in this period. Especially the U.S. has effectively participated in the genocide of the Palestinians in the new era. Zionists were afraid to fight in Gaza and the West Bank. They only bombed from the sky. They didn’t stop at genocide and attacked neighboring countries. However, the timing of the attack on Syria is a result of expansionist ambitions. Had they succeeded, they would have placed this event within the larger narrative, just as they did in the past, but the boundary appeared here. This time, the revolutionaries in Syria succeeded. The revolutionaries did not provide the material they wanted. The Holocaust narrative became futile. Pariah state Israel, while trying to win the approval of the West, has gained hatred in its own region. However, this hatred is primarily directed at the West.

Martyr Yahya Sinwar, as a leader of a movement, is undoubtedly very valuable, but I believe his true value lies much further ahead. Few people in history have changed the course of events. He was a great leader who showed Israel its limits. The Palestinians fully understood what this great leader wanted and resisted with unwavering faith. This resistance is one of the main factors in changing the geography. In other words, their deadly resistance bought time for the geography. Thus, the boundaries of the countries that provided unconditional support to Israel, along with the U.S. and the U.K., became clear. The Holocaust narrative is over, and the settler colonialism aspect became visible.

From now on, they will also face issues among themselves. Already, internal struggles have surfaced in the U.S. They may start using weapons like Daesh against each other. As our region continues to resist, we can expect these conflicts to increase.
