Istanbul to host global defense and aerospace Expo SAHA 2026

Istanbul will be the host city for SAHA Expo 2026, a major international defense and aerospace exhibition scheduled for May. The event underscores Türkiye's strategic push to enhance its global presence in the defense sector and facilitate collaboration between domestic companies and international partners.

From Local Showcase to Global Powerhouse

Organized by SAHA Istanbul, Europe's largest industrial cluster, the biennial expo has transformed since its 2018 debut. It has rapidly evolved from a national display into a crucial global nexus for cooperation, encompassing defense, aviation, maritime, space, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. This growth trajectory is marked by soaring participation; the 2024 edition united nearly 1,500 companies from 121 countries and facilitated deals worth $6.2 billion.

Showcasing Türkiye's Technological Prowess

The exhibition serves as a primary platform to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of the Turkish defense industry. It will feature next-generation systems, including unmanned aerial, land, and naval vehicles, AI-powered solutions, electronic warfare, and autonomous technologies.
