Beşiktaş easily disposes of Trabzonspor

Black Eagles defeat Trabzonspor 3-0 in Konya and take top spot in Turkish league

Besiktas cruised past Trabzonspor 3-0 on Sunday at Konya Metropolitan Torku Arena and became the league leaders.

Scorers for the Istanbul team in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League week 12 game are Veli Kavlak, Demba Ba and Cenk Tosun.

In the 5th minute of play, Austrian midfielder Veli Kavlak fired from outside the box and found the net to make it 1-0.

In the 21st minute home team Besiktas doubled the score thanks to a heel kick by Senegalese striker Demba Ba.

With six minutes to go, Turkish striker Cenk Tosun made it 3-0. Argentine attacking midfielder Jose Sosa provided the assist.

The 3-0 win against Trabzonspor in Konya gives Besiktas 26 points and the top spot in the league.

Sivasspor will face SAI Kayseri Erciyesspor in Sivas on Monday. The match will kick off at 19:00 local time (1700 GMT).
