Saudi football club to pay about $2M loan fee for Maicon to the Turkish Super League club for 2018-2019, 2019-2020 seasons

Brazilian defender Maicon joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr from Turkish club Galatasaray on loan for one-and-a-half year.

Al-Nassr will pay €1.7 million (about $2 million) loan fee for Maicon to Galatasaray for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons, the Turkish club announced in a statement on Monday night.

The 30-year-old Brazilian played 22 matches and scored a goal for Galatasaray this season.

Galatasaray has a contract with Maicon until June 2021.
