Türkiye's NSosyal platform surpasses 1.7 million users after major update

The Turkish social media platform NSosyal has surpassed 1.7 million registered users, marking rapid growth since its launch six months ago. The platform recently completed a comprehensive architectural overhaul, introducing new features and emphasizing data sovereignty and ethical AI.
Rapid growth and user-centric redesign
According to a company statement, NSosyal has experienced a swift expansion of its user base, now approaching 2 million accounts. A major update has completely rebuilt the platform's architecture and user experience, adding functionalities like a story mode to enhance engagement.
Focus on ethical AI and national data storage
NSosyal differentiates itself by utilizing an ethical AI model designed to accelerate content moderation while minimizing spam, bot accounts, and manipulation attempts. The platform emphasizes user privacy and a non-manipulative design, avoiding ad-driven profiling. Critically, all user data is stored on servers located within Türkiye, supporting national digital sovereignty and cybersecurity standards.
Foundational backing and future trajectory
Launched in July 2025 by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Vakfı) in collaboration with Baykar Technology, the platform—initially named Next Sosyal—quickly exceeded one million users. Its continued growth underscores a rising domestic interest in locally developed digital platforms that prioritize user security and national technological infrastructure.
