A retired Turkish Airlines plane has been brought to Burhaniye town of western Turkish province of Balıkesir to be repurposed as a restaurant or wedding salon starting from June 2016.
The Airbus A340-type plane was brought to Burhaniye in seven trucks to host activities after five-day-long journey.
The owner of the plane, Ali Akbulut, said that the restoration was completed and there are 20 tables for 40 people in the vehicle.
The plane was reconstructed with two stories and also includes kitchen and bathroom.
An aqua park and swimming pool will be constructed near the plane as a part of the project, Akbulut said.
