Assad uses German weapons technology to conduct massacres
Assad regime uses weapons that Iran purchased from Germany to attack civilians
A German company has sold chemical and biological weapons technology to Iran, and the Assad regime attacked civilians in Syria with these weapons.
The Iran-made missiles used by the Assad regime in Idlib on Tuesday night that contain chlorine gas were found to have been exported to Iran by Germany.
According to an article published by German publication DW, up to 100 shell companies based in Germany are trading arms with Iran. The German security forces and the Federal Office for Protection of the State are looking into the issue.
UN probing chlorine gas attacks in Syria
UN war crime investigators are probing multiple reports that chlorine attacks have targeted civilians in opposition-held towns.
“These reports are extremely troubling, and make a mockery of the so-called 'de-escalation zones' intended to protect civilians from such bombardment," said Paulo Pinheiro, head of the U.N. Commission of Inquiry on Syria.
The Assad regime attacked civilians in the Saraqib district of Idlib with chlorine gas as airstrikes across other opposition-held districts continue.
At least 47 civilians were killed by Syrian regime attacks on Tuesday in Eastern Ghouta, a Damascus suburb.
Villages in the area continue to be targeted by regime forces and its allies even though these areas fall within a network of de-escalation zones in which acts of aggression are prohibited.
Syria has been locked in a vicious civil war since early 2011 when the Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity.
