Medical sources said two Palestinians were killed and nine others wounded in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since early Friday, raising the death toll from ongoing ceasefire violations to 922 since the agreement took effect on October 10, according to the enclave's Health Ministry.

Gaza's Health Ministry said two Palestinians were killed and nine others wounded in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since early Friday, as violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10 continued to mount.

Attacks target Gaza City neighborhoods

Medical sources said a Palestinian was killed and two others injured in an Israeli drone strike on the Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City. Another Palestinian died and several others were wounded in a strike targeting a gathering of civilians at Al-Shawa Square — east of the city center.

Earlier Friday, a Palestinian woman was seriously wounded by Israeli gunfire near the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, the sources added. Another Palestinian was injured by gunfire near the Wadi Gaza bridge in the central part of the enclave, where Israeli military vehicles advanced along Salah al-Din Street and opened fire toward residents.

Naval shelling and airstrikes

Israeli naval forces opened machine-gun fire and shelled fishing boats and the coastline of Gaza City, local sources said. Artillery also shelled eastern areas of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles, though no casualties were immediately reported.

In the Bureij refugee camp, Israeli forces shelled the courtyard of a house in the Block 9 area, with no injuries reported. Earlier Friday, seven Palestinians sustained wounds ranging from moderate to serious in an Israeli airstrike on commercial warehouses beneath the Haraz building near Yarmouk Stadium in central Gaza City, witnesses told Anadolu.

Ceasefire death toll reaches 922

Gaza's Civil Defense Directorate said its crews extinguished a fire that broke out at the Haraz building site following the strike. The Health Ministry said 922 Palestinians have been killed and 2,786 injured in Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 10.

Israel's military campaign in Gaza, launched on October 7, 2023, has killed more than 72,800 Palestinians and injured over 172,800 others, according to Palestinian authorities.
