Israel has begun brutally killing Gazan Muslims who had taken refuge in Rafah, a designated safe zone.
There seems to be no power capable of stopping Israel from raining death from the skies on those makeshift tents where Gazans live.
Don't even mention the Muslim countries.
I don't even want to hear their names.
It's a disgrace to associate with those who tarnish the honorable name of Islam.
I refuse to be mentioned alongside them.
The countries cowardly and shamelessly watching Israel's genocide cannot be called Islamic.
There are no Islamic countries.
If there were, Israel wouldn't be so reckless.
There are countries with Muslim populations.
For some, it's more accurate to say countries with some Muslims.
Even if the leaders of these countries belong to Islam, their governance is anything but Islamic.
It's one of the most tragic paradoxes that Muslim leaders head these non-Islamic regimes.
Palestinian lands have been under occupation for years.
Our first Qibla, holy Jerusalem, is occupied.
Palestinian Muslims are under oppression and captivity.
Gaza is burning.
There is genocide in Gaza.
But the so-called Islamic countries are just watching and staying silent.
I am angrier with these countries than with Israel itself.
We should be angry with them.
When I returned from Sarajevo, Europe’s Gaza, on Sunday night, I learned that bombs had also rained down on the tent city in Rafah.
A horrific massacre...
An ongoing genocide without pause...
The leaders of these countries, which are supposedly Islamic, couldn't care less.
Only Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's voice rings out loud and clear.
The rest seem to be covered in a shroud of indifference.
Damn you all.
May you be laid low.
Know that we don't value you even an ounce.
You have no place in our hearts.
We do not consider you one of us.
We are ashamed to share the same religion with you.
Our true anger is directed at you.
May your regimes collapse along with your heads.
If you can’t do anything against this massacre, may you be buried in shame.
If only you had chosen an honorable death over a dishonorable life, we could have been proud of you.
Dissolve that useless Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
You are unworthy of the name of Islam in its title.
Worst of all, you taint the name of Islam with your cowardice and collaboration.
You are collaborators with the US.
And thus with Israel.
Your people can’t overpower you.
Hopefully, the birds of Ababil will lay you to waste.
Your humanity is as flawed as your Muslim identity.
Just as you can’t muster the courage to react in the name of Islam, you fail to react as humans.
May God lay waste to you all along with your regimes.
Islamic countries?
Give me a break!
Neither your Islam is true Islam, nor your humanity is true humanity.
Only our religion’s name is shared.
Nothing else is common between us and you.
You will drown in the blood that Israel sheds in Gaza!
Know that this blood will drown you too!
The coup supporters who call May 27 a revolution
Yesterday marked the anniversary of the May 27 military coup.
The children of those who applauded the coup as a “revolution” back then continue to do so today.
Reading the writings of those who still celebrate the 1961 constitution, born from the May 27 military coup, as “libertarian,” it’s clear that this mindset will never change.
Whatever anyone says, the truth is this: A mindset that calls May 27 a “revolution” and the 1961 constitution “libertarian” is essentially pro-coup and anti-democratic. In other words, it’s a mindset that prioritizes preserving an ideological-totalitarian regime imposed against the people's will, using military-civil bureaucracy. When leaders who represent the people's will come to power and attempt to act with absolute authority, this mindset views their overthrow by the military as “legitimate.”
Had July 15 succeeded, the children of those who call May 27 a “revolution” would have continued to support the coup, just as they did after the 1960 coup.
Their hatred for Erdoğan mirrors the hatred their predecessors had for Menderes.
That’s why they want to see Erdoğan on the gallows.
