They are having a panic attack

Lice provocation is a panic attack produced by the fear of resolution. The attempts to raise the tensions by the road interceptions and the attempt to blow up the communal support by bringing the flag down in the military base, are examples of the provocations we are enduring nowadays.

The conviction, that the resolution process is arriving to a conclusion, had caused some quarters to have a fit. Maybe the people, who"ve misinterpreted the position reached by statements like "Process is, frozen, not operating, not progressing", are unable to see that the best position has been reached in the process and we have entered the last phase for a radical resolution. The provocations happening today are not the result of the process slowing down; on the contrary, they are the epiphany of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel…

The status quo groups, who are feeding on the deadlock within the Qandil and the government, are showing a similar reflex at the same time and forming a provocation front in panic.

Since the beginning, the organization is being cool towards all the resolution formulas that will be created by the government. While they are thinking that there is a gap between their organizational objectives and a democratic resolution, they believe that instead of a resolution produced by the process, they can reach further objectives with weapon and riot impositions. The organization also thinks that a resolution, which is acceptable by the society and is happening on democratic ground, will be far away from their "scarlet apple".

If you can remember, the democratic initiative process was sabotaged after the organization put forward a similar approach. Bringing the Revolutionist Public War strategy forward, the organization was under the illusion that they can defeat the government. Organization"s attempts to fill the authority gap in the region and the public order incidents, were all low density parts of this strategy. Qandil tried to bring their game plan forward by using Öcalan as much as they can without refusing him. They"ve neither undergone a transformation that will be attuned to the democratic politics channel opened by Öcalan, nor entered a contradiction that will inactivate and make him meaningless. They opened a different movement area for themselves with statements like "Apo is a prisoner of the state, he is unable to reflect his real will", and emphasized Öcalan in order to exploit his power. While carrying out actions that might tense up the process, they"ve developed their defense by referring to Apo with reasons like "We are trying to strengthen the hand of Apo".

KCK"s statement, on Monday during the hours HDP committee was travelling to Imrali, was a warning message for Öcalan. This clear reflection, of the discomfort felt by the interference on the resolution process via Öcalan, was the first of its kind.

As the resolution hopes are rising, Qandil is advancing towards showing his true colors and settling old scores with Öcalan if necessary.

At the point reached, it became meaningless for Qandil, to legitimatize the tensions by statements like "We told you at the beginning of the process, we don"t want police station-dam etc.", or, to defend the provocations by the "We are making impositions on the government in order to strengthen Öcalan"s hand" approach.

Explicitly, Qandil is making moves that tenses up and poisons the process. It"s becoming obvious that these movements, have stopped being tactics intended at steering the process, and instead started to reflect another strategy that is sabotaging the resolution process. While Cemil Bayik is provoking from Qandil, Selahattin Demirtas is doing the same from Diyarbakir. Both of these provocative sayings are destroying Öcalan"s "Don"t be aggravated by the provocations" call.

During his group discussion, the Prime Minister Erdogan has underlined that, they are aware of the games played and without giving credit to provocations they will continue walking on the resolution path while looking after the sensitivities on the knife-edge.
