Belgium’s Club Brugge hosted Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev to beat the guest team 1-0.
The first leg matches will conclude on Wednesday with five games.
Turkish top-tier football league runners-up Istanbul Başakşehir will face Greece's Olympiacos at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul.
