Team beats Madagascar 3-0 in easy victory
Tunisia qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semifinals after hammering Madagascar 3-0 late Thursday in Cairo, Egypt.
Ferjani Sassi gave Tunisia the lead in the 52nd minute after the first half ended goalless.
Youssef Msakni found the net eight minutes later as Tunisia doubled the gap.
Substitute Naim Sliti scored the third and winning goal in stoppage time and Tunisia won the match 3-0.
Tunisia will face Senegal in the AFCON last four phase on July 14.
