China's DEEP Robotics showcased its AI-powered robot dogs at the GITEX Global exhibition in Dubai. The company highlighted their use in hazardous tasks and their deployment in markets including North America, Europe, and Türkiye, with future applications in delivery and marketing.

Chinese robotics firm DEEP Robotics has drawn significant attention at the GITEX Global technology exhibition in Dubai with its advanced AI-powered robot dogs. The company's regional sales manager, Maksim Hao, emphasized that these robots are designed to perform dangerous tasks currently handled by humans, with existing deployments in emergency response and security operations across multiple continents.

Practical Applications and Global Reach

Unlike humanoid robots that primarily serve ceremonial functions, these quadrupedal machines offer practical solutions for real-world challenges. "Our robot dogs are already operational in North America, Europe, and Türkiye," Hao confirmed, noting their superior reliability for industrial and security applications compared to humanoid alternatives that mainly perform social interactions.

Advanced AI Capabilities and Future Development

The current generation uses artificial intelligence for basic navigation and obstacle avoidance, but the company envisions more sophisticated autonomous operation. "In the future, they will interact with the environment and make decisions on their own," Hao stated. The technology is already being tested for delivery services in China, with planned expansion into marketing applications.

Company Background and Event Scope

DEEP Robotics develops all core components internally, positioning itself as a global leader in robotics innovation. The 45th GITEX Global exhibition, running through Friday in Dubai, features approximately 6,800 companies from 180 countries, making it one of the world's largest technology gatherings focused on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
