Turkish armored vehicle Yoruk 4x4 begins first mission in Africa

Turkish armored land vehicle Yoruk 4x4 has started its first field mission in Africa.

Turkish military land vehicle producer Nurol Makina introduced Yoruk 4X4 for the first time at the International Defense Industry Fair in 2017, with the slogan that it "will open a new era in its class."

During the development, testing, and production preparation activities for the vehicle, the company received requests from many countries.

Nurol Makina signed the first export contract for Yoruk 4X4 before the serial production preparations were completed. The company in a short time signed contracts with a total of four countries, with Chad becoming the first African country to export the vehicle.

Chad had recently added the Ejder Yalcin 4X4 armored combat vehicles, also produced by Nurol Makina, to its inventory.

Designed for the use of security forces and military units, Yoruk 4x4 offers its users the highest level of mobility and protection performance in the light armored vehicle class.

The vehicle provides high-level protection against ballistic and mine/hand-made explosives and it can also be customized based on user preferences.
