Cagatay Yasin Karaboga, head of the Trade Ministry’s Electronic Commerce Department, highlighted the scale of the industry, revealing that the $90 billion volume was generated through approximately 6 billion transactions from 601,000 active sellers in 2024. "Rapid digitalization has reshaped consumer and producer habits, enabling shopping independent of time and place," he stated, emphasizing that e-commerce provides equal opportunities for producers across Türkiye.
