Israeli soldiers wounded in Gaza rocket attack
The Israeli army is yet to comment on the report.
Two Israeli soldiers were injured on Wednesday in a rocket attack inside the Gaza Strip, Israel's Channel 2 reported.
The two soldiers were brought home for treatment, the channel said, quoting unnamed military sources as saying.
The report, however, did not state the seriousness of the pair's injuries or where the attack happened.
The Israeli army is yet to comment on the report.
According to the channel, six other soldiers were injured late Tuesday in clashes with Palestinian groups in Gaza.
Other 116 troops are currently hospitalized in Israel from injuries they sustained in recent clashes with Hamas operatives, it added.
Since July 7, Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip - from air, land and sea - with devastating bombardments with the ostensible aim of halting rocket fire from the strip.
At least 1254 Palestinians have been killed - mostly civilians - and more than 7130 others injured in Israel's ongoing onslaught.
Israel claims that the offensive, now in its fourth week, aims at halting rocket fire from the blockaded Palestinian territory.
At least 56 Israelis - 53 soldiers and three civilians - have been killed since the hostilities began.
Israel's military operation, dubbed operation "Protective Edge," is the self-proclaimed Jewish state's third major offensive against the densely-populate Gaza Strip - which is home to some 1.8 million Palestinians - within the last six years.
In 2008/9, over 1500 Palestinians were killed in Israel's three-week-long operation "Cast Lead."
