Al-Qassam strikes Israel's Ben Gurion airport
Hamas military wing hit Israel's largest airport Ben Gurion
Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, declared that it has struck Israel's Ben Gurion international airport on Thursday with long-range M75 missiles.
The strike has been followed by the Brigades' previous bombing on Ben Gurion airport with four long-range M75 missiles.
The spiraling conflict between Israel and Hamas has disrupted flights in and out Ben Gurion international. Around 32 international airlines, including Lufthansa, Swissair and Turkish Airlines, have suspended their flight to Ben Gurion Airport due to deteriorated security conditions.
In a response to the huge suspension, the Israeli transportation ministry, in an attempt to allay any fears, said that the Ben Gurion airport is safe and completely guarded, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for flights to Israel to resume.
