The terrorist organization produces bulletproof car bombs in secret base near Turkish border
Daesh terrorist organization has been using a secret base in northern Syria to produce car bombs and other weapons, despite the presence of international military in the area.
The base in Abla village situated between Al-Bab, Al-Rai and Mar'a cities of northern Syria is only 24 kilometers from the Turkish border.
The main factory inside the base is surrounded by ancient stone quarries.
According to reports, the terror group produced handmade mortar shells and similar weapons in a factory in Al-Bab town. But the town was targeted by airstrikes by both the US-led coalition and Russian forces.
Then Daesh shifted its arms production center to a more unobtrusive place, in al-Ablah village.
Turning lathes, welding machines and other tools were placed in the caves in the area.
One of the main functions of the factory is to produce car bombs. Automobiles, motorcycles, minibuses and trucks are fitted with bulletproof glass and steel. Then the vehicles are laden with explosives. It has the capacity to produce up to 30 car bombs per day.
After production, the weapons, including rocket launchers and Katyusha missiles, are stored in underground warehouses.
The weapons are supplied with minibuses, fuel tankers and trucks, especially in nights, to almost all major cities in Syria, including Kobane, Tel Abyad, Damascus, Homs, and Der'a.
Though the factory on two square kilometers area has been running for more than one year, neither the US-led coalition forces nor Russian military has hit the secret base.
