A bomb attack targeted a military convoy in the southeastern Diyarbakir province of Turkey leaving at least six dead on Thursday.
Ambulances rushed to the scene as initial report said all the killed people are military officers who were in an counter terror operation in the area.
The explosion occurred on the Diyarbakır-Lice highway during transit of a military vehicle.
The recent attack came one day after another attack organized in Turkey's capital, Ankara, on February 17 left 28 people dead and 61 injured.
A bomb-laden car was detonated when the military buses stopped at a red light near the armed forces' headquarters.
The attacks were carried out amid Turkey's intensified efforts to fight against terrorist groups, particularly the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), and affiliated groups such the Democratic Union Party (PYD), People's Protection Units (YPG) and Daesh.
