Luxembourg-based Cargolux aircraft lands safely after fire warning received about landing gear
A cargo plane belonging to Cargolux, based in Luxembourg, made an emergency landing late Friday at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Türkiye after issuing an emergency notification.
The Boeing 747 aircraft, operating on the Luxembourg-Dammam route, issued the notification to land at the airport after receiving a fire warning about its landing gear.
Fire and health teams were ready on the apron before the landing.
Airport flight traffic was temporarily halted and the cargo plane successfully landed.
Air traffic returned to normal at the airport.
