Erdogan vows 'Terror-Free Türkiye' at Malazgirt commemoration

Erdogan emphasized that the spirit of Malazgirt continues to guide Türkiye's resolve in protecting its borders and interests.

Speaking at the ceremony, the president linked the historical victory to contemporary security challenges facing the nation. He stressed that Türkiye has no choice but to remain powerful and united, expressing determination to transform the region into "a land of peace and well-being once again." Counter-terrorism resolve

Erdogan articulated a forceful stance against terrorism, declaring that Ankara would pursue its objectives without retreat. The president vowed that national security would never be subject to external dictation or pressure. "We never bow before anyone else if the future of our homeland, our state and our nation is at stake," he stated during his address. Warning to 'trap' setters

Erdogan directed sharp criticism toward unnamed actors he accused of plotting against Turkish interests through subterfuge and incitement. "Those who think they can stop Türkiye’s and the Turkish nation’s blessed march through traps and provocations are doomed to disappointment," he added, according to presidential sources.
