Army responds with heavy fire to rockets from Daesh-held territory in Syria
Turkey has opened heavy artillery fire on Daesh gun positions in northern Syria in reprisal for the rocket strike, launched earlier on Saturday.
General Staff announced that border units completely destroyed four gun positions belonging to the extremist group with a multi-barrel rocket launcher and artillery deployed on the Turkish-Syrian border. Two rounds of rocket shells were fired from Syria into Turkish territory. One of the rocket shells fell on an empty field, while the other fell into a garden near buildings on public land near Gaziantep airport in Oğuzeli town.
