GITEX Global 2025 concludes in Dubai with strong Turkish participation

The GITEX Global 2025 technology exhibition in Dubai has concluded, featuring 6,800 companies from 180 countries including 60 Turkish firms. The event highlighted emerging technologies with significant participation from Türkiye's Industry and Technology Ministry and Investment Office promoting the country's growing tech ecosystem.
Dubai has hosted the 45th edition of GITEX Global, one of the world's premier technology exhibitions, bringing together thousands of companies and innovators from October 13-17. The event at Dubai World Trade Center showcased cutting-edge technologies ranging from artificial intelligence and quantum computing to cybersecurity and robotics with strong international representation.
Turkish Presence and Strategic Initiatives
Türkiye marked a significant presence at the exhibition with sixty companies demonstrating innovations across multiple technology sectors. The Turkish Industry and Technology Ministry and Presidency Investment Office jointly participated for the first time through the "Turcorn-Invest in Türkiye" pavilion, connecting Turkish startup candidates with international investors under the Turcorn 100 program.
Global Participation and Future Events
The event attracted major technology corporations including Google, Huawei, IBM, and Microsoft alongside over forty unicorn startups valued above $1 billion. With 80% of participants originating outside the United Arab Emirates, the exhibition demonstrated substantial global diversity. The next iteration, renamed "GITEX Ai Türkiye," will take place in Istanbul September 9-10 next year, signaling growing Turkish prominence in the global technology landscape.
Visitor Impressions and Technological Focus
International attendees from Nigeria, Canada, Pakistan, and India expressed particular interest in robotics, artificial intelligence, and drone technologies displayed throughout the exhibition. Dubai World Trade Center executives noted that emerging smart economies participating across four continents would significantly influence the evolving global artificial intelligence narrative.
