Israeli forces raided Qusra, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, on Thursday and enforced a curfew across the town, eyewitnesses said, as tensions mounted over a prolonged siege by Israeli occupiers targeting three homes on the outskirts.
A large military contingent including infantry troops and dozens of armored vehicles entered the municipality and ordered commercial establishments to shut their doors, according to local sources. The occupying forces sealed off access points and restricted movement throughout the area.
Settler siege enters fourth day
Tensions have flared since Sunday when Israeli occupiers erected temporary structures in the Ras al-Ain neighborhood and surrounded three Palestinian residences. The families have remained trapped inside for four consecutive days, with occupiers blocking all entry and exit while preventing visitors from approaching the homes.
