Turkish defense firms to showcase military technology at Mali expo

Türkiye's defense industry will display its advanced military technologies alongside African nations at the inaugural Bamako Expo 2025 scheduled for November in Mali. The four-day international defense exhibition, organized by Turkish company The Peak Defense, represents a strategic initiative to strengthen Türkiye's growing presence in African defense markets through new partnerships and technology transfers.

Participating Turkish Defense Companies

Major Turkish defense contractors including Baykar, Aselsan, Roketsan, MKE, STM, and Sarsilmaz will exhibit their products at the Mali event. The exhibition will also feature displays from the Alliance of Sahel States comprising Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, alongside presentations from the Malian armed forces, highlighting the regional significance of the gathering for West African security cooperation.

Demonstration Days and Product Testing

The final two days of the exposition have been designated as demonstration periods, allowing international delegations and technical experts to conduct hands-on testing of Turkish defense products in specialized operational environments. This practical component enables potential customers to evaluate equipment performance under realistic conditions, particularly important for nations facing complex border security challenges like Mali and its neighbors.
